Set a Reminder on Any Note So Important Tasks Don't Slip

In Memory Chat, long-press any note or task to set a one-time or repeating reminder. Reminders still arrive when you're offline.

Keep Important Tasks From Slipping Away with Smart Reminders

When work, school, and everything else at home pile up, something usually gets dropped. An appointment goes by, or a task you meant to finish stays half done, and you remember it when it's too late to do anything about it.

In Memory Chat, any item can become a Reminder. You can set it to go off once or to repeat, so the things that matter come back to you at the right time.

What reminders can do

With reminders in Memory Chat you can:

  • Turn notes, tasks, and other saved items into reminders
  • Pick the exact date and time you want to be alerted
  • Repeat a reminder daily, weekly, or on a schedule you set yourself
  • Get the alert even when the app is closed
  • Use all of it without an internet connection

How to set one up

1. Press and hold an item

Find the note, checklist, saved location, or calculation you want to be reminded about, including anything in the General Box. Press and hold it, then tap Remind Me.

2. Choose the time

For something later today or tomorrow, the quick options are there. Otherwise pick the day, hour, and minute yourself.

3. Set it to repeat

Bills, workouts, and weekly calls don't end after one reminder, so you can repeat it daily, every two days, weekly, or monthly, or build your own pattern.

4. Manage your reminders

Every reminder you've set shows up in one list. From there you can change the time, push it back, or delete it.

Why it's handy

Because reminders start from a long press, adding one takes a couple of seconds and you don't have to retype anything. They also work with the rest of the app, so a reminder can sit on a checklist, a calculation, a location, or a timer. And since they work completely offline, you'll still get them on time with no connection.

Who uses reminders

Almost anyone with more going on than they can hold in their head. A freelancer might put a repeating reminder on each client's follow-up note, while a student sets one on the assignment checklist two days before it's due. If you're trying to read more, a daily reminder on your reading list does the same job for a habit.

Set your first one on whatever you're most likely to forget this week, and Memory Chat will bring it back to you at the right time, online or off.
