Save Important Places and Map Locations in Your Notes

You find a restaurant you love on holiday, and a year later you can remember the meal but not the street. Or you have a meeting at a new client's office and the address is in one app, the parking instructions in another, and the notes from your last call somewhere else again.

Memory Chat's Location feature keeps everything about a place in one Memory Box: the address on the map, plus photos, files, notes, and reminders, without switching between a map app and a notes app.

What the Location feature does

You can save the spot you're standing on with one tap, or search for a place and pick it on the map, and then keep photos, files, and notes with it. A saved place also works with Checklists, Calculations, and Reminders.

How to save a place

1. Open a General Memory Box and tap Add Location.
2. Pick Add Current Location, or Choose a Location to search the map.
3. Name it, for example "New Client Office."
4. Add photos, files, a voice note, or written notes.
5. Optionally add a checklist, an expense, or a reminder to go back.
6. Add it to Favorites with an emoji, or share it through WhatsApp or Telegram.

Why it's useful

The point of keeping it all in one place shows up months later. You search for the restaurant, and the photo of the menu and your note about which table had the view come up with it.

Who it's for

You might start with something small, like where you parked or a restaurant you want to go back to. It becomes more useful when a place has information attached: a client's office with the entrance code and notes from the last meeting, or a hotel with the booking confirmation and the photo of the street it's on.

The easiest way to try it is to save the next place you'd otherwise have to look up again, and add one note to it about why you saved it.
