A message arrives with eight things in it. It might be a shopping list from someone at home, or a set of instructions from your manager. To keep track, you usually end up retyping each item into a list somewhere else, which takes time and makes it easy to miss one.

Memory Chat can turn a message or any block of text into a checklist with one tap.

## How to convert it

Add the text to Memory Chat in whatever way you normally save things, then tap **Convert to Checklist**. Each line of the message becomes its own item, and you don't have to rewrite anything.

## Working through the list

Every item gets a checkbox, so you can tick tasks off one at a time as you finish them. Whatever is still unchecked is what's left to do, which is easier to see than rereading the original message.

## When it's useful

Convert to Checklist helps whenever a message is really a to-do list:

- A shopping list someone sends you, to work through in the store.
- Tasks from your manager or teammates.
- A study plan you want to split into steps.
- A packing list before a trip.
- The week's chores at home.

## Why it helps

You skip the copying and reformatting, and you get a list you can check against instead of relying on memory. When the next message with a pile of requests comes in, convert it first and start on the tasks from the checklist.
